About Us
Students for Global Health and Sustainability (SGHS)
SGHS was established in the fall of 2015. We had a goal to take an international mission trip to Nicaragua, which we did in June 2016. Our work included clinic rotations, children’s health, and public health projects.

Since then, our trips and projects have included:
Trips:
St. Paul, MN: Women of Nations Native American Women’s Shelter - May 2017.
Our work included nutrition and reproductive health workshops, health screenings (blood pressure, diabetes, breast health), and coping skills activities.

Cleveland, OH: Laura’s Home - Women’s Crisis Center - July 2018
Our work included painting a room for a resident family.

Muskogee, OK - June 2019
We assisted with flood relief efforts.
